About Ársafn
Ársafn, the newest branch addition to the Reykjavik City Library flora, was opened to the public on February 22nd 2004. Centrally situated in its service area, in a busy shopping center complex, it is easily accessible by neighborhood users.
Housed in a 550 sq. m. facility, Ársafn boost a growing collection of over 22000 items, including fictions and non-fiction books, popular magazines, DVDs, Icelandic music CDs, audio books, language courses and multimedia learning material.
For those wanting to take a break from the bustle of everyday life, Ársafn is the ideal solution, a place where you can relax in comfortable surroundings, read the local paper or flip through the pages of your favorite magazine. Library users have access to the Internet, multimedia and word processing. Users are charged for computer use according to the tariff.
