Gerðuberg Library is housed in the same building as Gerðuberg Cultural Centre.
It has an extensive collection of 104,000 volumes.
Besides books and periodicals for all age groups, the branch lends audio books, music, multimedia CDs, children's material on cassette and language courses.
A good selection of children's books is available in the Scandinavian languages and English.

Library users have access to the Internet, multimedia and word processing. Users are charged for computer use according to the tariff.
