The library in Gerðuberg has many things to offer. People of all ages use the space to work, study, relax, look through books and magazines, take part in an event or a workshop and many other things.
Gerðuberg is a great place for groups to meet up, both inside the library or in the café. The space is bright and spacious and we offer a wide selection of books, board games, magazines and DVDs, in Icelandic and many other languages.
We are located in Gerðuberg 3-5. Access to the parking lot is from Austurberg. Good access for people with reduced mobility in the parking area in front of the building. There is a lift in the building. Bicycle parking is available by both entrances, at the front and at the back. We encourage our users to use environmentally friendly transportation when possible.
