Your Very Own Library Mystery

Do you like board games, computer games, Escape Rooms, unsolved mysteries, and challenges in general? Then you will like Your Very Own Library Mystery!

Gerðuberg Library has gotten a new look... and transformed into an exotic world made up of thousands and thousands of books! In this mysterious new universe lives an old man named Gerðubergur. Old Gerðubergur is the main character in three riddles for you to solve… the Riddle of Fairytales, the Riddle of Science, and the Riddle of Terror. Wild fairytale characters, creatures from other dimensions and ominous ghosts have taken over the library. Take part in a scavenger hunt where you decide what to do every step of the way!

Who can take part?

Different people, different talents – this scavenger hunt is ideal for all sorts of groups; families, schoolmates, friends, workmates, knitting circles, runing clubs... we look forward to seeing all of you!

It is recommended that children under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult.

Sign your group up for the game HERE on our registration page and select the date and riddle that best suit your group.

During the ongoing pandemic, games like these are uplifting—but they’re also created with safety in mind. For this scavenger hunt, groups can safely take part within their “social bubble”.
