Everyone is welcome

Klébergi City Library is Reykjavík's newest library. The library is small but cozy and full of diverse reading options for all age groups. We have quite a few books in Polish, and you can always reserve books from our other libraries and have them delivered to Kléberg. You are welcome to use the facilities in the library as you wish during opening hours – to stay, meet people or read quietly. The city library is in constant development and the staff strives to offer exciting reading options, professional information services, and a fun and varied program of events. We welcome new ideas and are ready to support and participate in all kinds of projects that we believe belong under the umbrella of the library.

Location and transportation

The library is housed in Klébergsskóli at Kollagrund 2-6. You can enter through the south entrance, parking is available at Klébergslaug. Good access for disabled people..
We encourage everyone who has the opportunity to take the bus. See more on the website straeto.is/en.
