South-Korean Picture Books
Come and have a peek into the fun and beautiful world of South-Korean picture books! This event is to introduce Korean culture to all those interested with book topics including; K-Culture in Picture Books, Beautiful K-Picture Books, Collaboration with Overseas Artists, Fun & Fun, and Brave Women!
There will be a book reading for children and then related activites such as stamping with Korean letters and exploring a 3D book. For adults they will get to look at selected books, read exerpts and a chance to ask questions.
Hye-Young Jo is a member of a picture book community in South-Korea and an amateur essay writer. She has a great interest in literature and in Iceland. This is her first visit to Iceland and she is looking forward to sharing her culture and knowledge with you.
